for the first time in my personal history with Ubuntu, I am not running the beta of the upcoming release. I tried it a couple of weekends ago, and it looked nice and pretty and had all sorts of sexy newness to it. Then I fired up Xournal to write my morning journal entry- and the pen motion was totally not following my pen. everything was working in right angles.
so i downgraded. back to the reliable.
I bought a tablet pc intentionally, and i intend on using it as such. so no tablet functions, and the show stops. I have gotten really comfortable using Cellwriter to write Textfield entries with my stylus. I don't want to return to using my keyboard just because xorg and evtouch are not playing nice yet.
Speaking of playing nice I have been approached to receive funding to linkify some of my older posts which discuss touchscreens, sort of like sponsorship titles on the front of my football jersey. maybe I can be bought. maybe I can't.
